Confindustria Ceramica (the Italian Association of Ceramics) and the Italian Trade Commission, are proud to announce the 2013 Ceramics of Italy Tile Competition Call for Entries. The competition, now in its 20th year, recognizes the exceptional work of architects and designers who feature Italian ceramic tiles in their institutional, residential or commercial/hospitality spaces. The competition is open to all North American architects and interior designers. Domestic and international new construction and renovation projects completed between January 2008 and January 2013 are eligible for entry. Design Inspired and Imaginative Architecture Using Italian Ceramic TilesCommercial, Residential or Institutional new construction or renovation projects completed within the past 5 years can be submitted. Projects can be domestic or international.

The competition, now in its 19th year, recognizes the exceptional work of North American architects and designers who feature Italian ceramic tiles in their institutional, residential or commercial/hospitality spaces. The winning architect receives a 5-day trip to Bologna, Italy to attend Cersaie 2012 as part of a delegation of design and lifestyle journalists. Plus a a check of $4000!

The competition, now in its 18th year, recognizes the exceptional work of North American architects and designers who feature Italian ceramic tiles in their institutional, residential or commercial/hospitality spaces. Winners in each category will receive a cash prize of $4,000 and a five-day trip to Bologna, Italy to attend Cersaie 2011 – the world’s largest exhibition for ceramic tile and bathroom furnishings.
