The Lions Club Seregno AID – ETS organizes the tenth edition of the World Water Day Photo Contest, #WWDPHC. The 2026 campaign’s theme is “Water’s Role in Gender Equality”, aiming to highlight how water is not just a natural resource, but a powerful lens through which gender inequalities can be observed. The contest is open to all photography enthusiasts and supporters of environmental issues. The prize fund totals at more than 5,000 Euro, of which 1,500 Euro are reserved for the Main category first place winner.

The 2025 campaign’s theme is “Water Preservation” to raise awareness about the importance of water as a resource to be preserved to maintain the balance of all ecosystems, in line with the World Water Day theme “Glacier Preservation,” celebrating the International Year of Glacier Preservation. The Contest is open to all photography enthusiasts and supporters of environmental issues. The prize fund totals at more than 5,000 Euro, of which 1,500 Euro are reserved for the Overall Winner.

The Lions International Seregno AID in collaboration with UN Water, the patronage of the European Community is organizing the eighth edition of the World Water Day Photo Contest, #WWDPHC to raise public awareness of the critical issue of water in our era. The competition is open to all lovers of photography enthusiasts and all supporters of environmental issues. The campaign title is Leveraging Water for Peace. The Overall Winner will be awarded with 1,500 Euro. In addition, a total of more than 4,000 Euro in other prizes will be awarded as well. The awards are not cumulative and are distributed between the competition sections.
