The Association of Illustrators (AOI) is delighted to open submissions for the Poster Prize for Illustration 2019, in partnership with London Transport Museum (LTM). The competition is themed “London Stories” and aimed at attracting artwork for display that is colourful, inspiring and celebrates the vibrant, multi-layered city that is London. Prizes will be awarded in three levels and include a total of £3,750. The best poster design will be awarded £2,000 and feature of the winning image on a London Transport Museum poster to be displayed on the London Underground.

The Association of Illustrators (AOI) in partnership with London Transport Museum (LTM), has recently open submissions for The Prize for Illustration 2017. This year, the competition is themed “Sounds of the City” and will result in an exhibition at London Transport Museum that is colorful, inspiring and celebrates the sounds heard in the hubbub and quiet spaces of the UK’s vibrant, diverse, multi-layered cities. The top 100 entries, selected by a panel of independent judges, will be exhibited from May 2017 until September 2017. The winners will be announced at a private award ceremony that will take place in May 2017. A total of £3,750 will be awarded to the best three illustrations — the 1st prize includes £2,000.

The aim of The Prize for Illustration 2015 competition is to attract artwork for display that is colourful, inspiring and celebrates a vibrant, multi-layered London. Entrants are invited to visually capture an iconic or lesser known place in a single image. The organizers want to see the quiet and contemplative to the crowded and loud, the imaginary or real to the past or present.

The theme for the 2014 competition is London Stories and the aim of the competition is to attract artwork for display that is colourful, inspiring and celebrates a vibrant, multi-layered London. The first prize is £2000 and display of image on a London Transport Museum (LTM) poster. A second (£1000) and a third prize (£750) will also be awarded.
