Animax Skopje Fest (ASF), the first animated film festival in Macedonia, is currently accepting applications for 2014 and calling all animators around the world to join this year’s competitive program. Animated films of up to 25 minutes – with no particular limitations on the animation technique – completed after 31 December 2012 are eligible for submission. Three (3) main prizes – Golden, Silver and Bronze Brick – will be announced as part of the 2014 open international animated film competition. The Festival will also include thematic sections and special screenings. Last year, a record number of 257 animated films from 50 countries from around the world were submitted, with Daniel Sousa from USA winning the Grand Prix for its animated film “Feral“.
