The Biennial challenges artists to push conventional boundaries, both in terms of the use of techniques, tools, and media, and in creative freedom of expression. The OSTEN Biennial of Drawing Skopje 2020 has opened for applications and all artists from around the world are invited to participate. Eligible are works completed between 2018 and 2020. The Biennial is rather focused on a contemporary drawing, but in its widest interpretation. Feel free to submit your most innovative and creative works. Next autumn, OSTEN Skopje, North Macedonia – the organizer of the Biennial, will award many different awards, including the Grand Prix for Life Achievement, Special Grand Prix (on the occasion of 75 years OSTEN), the World Cultural Heritage Award, five (5) First Awards (of $1,000 each), five Golden OSTEN awards and other special awards and recognitions of the Jury and OSTEN Skopje.
