The Fumetti in Treviso association announces the International Competition for New Comic Book Authors, which will be held as part of the Treviso Comic Book Festival 2020. The subject is “An Awful Scientific Discovery”. The contest is aimed at all new cartoonists — non-professional authors, including students, who are not in any way employed in the illustration and/or comics field and have not published work at a national and international level — aged 18 and over worldwide. Three awards are offered by the Scuola Internazionale di Comics di Padova and consist of: 500 Euro for the First prize, 300 Euro for the Second prize and 200 Euro for the Third prize.
