In 2014, Snowden is once again “Celebrating the Mining Industry” with their annual photography competition, providing unique opportunities for non-professional photographers around the world. Mining can often have a bad reputation in society, so with this competition, the organizers would like to showcase the many great things that this industry has to offer. The 2014 Snowden Photography Competition offers one prize of A$10,000 for the overall winner and five (5) category prizes of A$1,000 each.
