The Faces of Brewing Team has opened the 2013 edition of its photography competition and is now seeking for the best photos featuring beer. This year’s competition, “Faces of Brewing 2013: Out for a beer” is dedicated to the role that brewing, beer and your local pub or bar play in the local community. Photos may feature people with beer, pubs, cafes, beer halls, beer gardens or festivals alive, whether serving the beer or enjoying it, in your local community or while traveling. The best three pictures, selected by a panel of experts, will be awarded prizes worth 1750 Euro and the winner of the first prize will be invited to a prestigious gala dinner in Brussels in December 2013, to receive the award.

The second edition of the Faces of Brewing photography competition has recently opened for entries. Images that feature individuals related to the brewing sector in the local community, such as pub owners, brewers, bar staff, consumers and even suppliers can be submitted to the competition. “Faces of Brewing 2012: Brewing and my community”, running from August to 7 October 2012, offers talented amateur photographers across Europe the opportunity to showcase their best images and the stories behind those images. The 2012 Faces of Brewing Photography Competition is Open for SubmissionsThe competition aims to shine a light on the people in the brewing sector and the surrounding local community, highlighting the role that brewing plays in Europe today. It is open to residents of the 27 Member States of the European Union plus Croatia, Norway, Switzerland and Turkey aged 21 years or over by the time the competition closes.
