The Kantar Information is Beautiful Awards, celebrating awesomeness in data-visualization & infographics across the world, have recently opened for entries. Now in their 6th year, the Awards have a completely revamped list of categories. The organizers offer $20,000 in prizes, to be awarded by voting by the public & an expert judging panel. Aside from the trophies and the cash, successful winners gain all sorts of side benefits – like new clients, jobs at hot startups and book deals.

Submissions have been opened for the 2013 Kantar Information is Beautiful Awards! This competition celebrate excellence and beauty in data visualizations, infographics and information art. Data journals, data visualizations, infographics / information designs, interactive visualizations, motion infographics and websites can now be submitted. There is no date limitation for when work was created. This year’s most beautiful work will be awarded with $5,000! There are five other special prizes available as well, aside from the bronze, silver and gold awards in each of the six competition categories.
