The Video Community has recently opened Video Art Review THE 03, its 3rd international open call for video art, experimental film, animation and video performance works. The call is open to graduated artists and students of art colleges, universities and academies around the world. Videos made not earlier than 1 January 2012 are eligible for submission. The preferred length of video works is up to 7 minutes, although videos of up to 15 minutes in length will be considered. The international Video Art Review THE is at present the biggest cyclical event presenting video works in Poland. The works selected through this open call will be presented in twenty (20) Polish art and cultural institutions.

The Video Community is inviting students of art colleges and academies (institutions of higher education) or graduates of such institutions to enter their second annual international competition. The Competition is being held within the framework of the International Video Art Review THE 02. The review consists of two (2) main parts, a special show of video works by invited artists and a competition show of video works that have been admitted to the final of the aforementioned competition. An appointed jury will award first prize for the best video; however, it is a competition without financial rewards. The Video Community is a new organization, established in 2012, for artists, curators and critics involved in video art. The aim is to create a site which will constitute a virtual space for presenting videos made by artists from all over the world, even the most exotic and culturally distant corners of the globe.
