The Fumetti in Treviso association announces the 4th International Competition for New Authors “TCBF” in collaboration with the Scuola Internazionale di Comics and in occasion of the Treviso Comic Book Festival 2015. The theme of the 2015 competition is Future Handicraft. The compositions must be stories related to the handicraft, craftsmen, their skills, instruments, places, in the past, present and especially future… The prizes, offered by Scuola Internazionale di Comics, are: 500 Euro for the winner, 300 Euro for the second place and 200 Euro for the third place.

The Fumetti in Treviso association announces the Third International Comics Competition for New Authors “TCBF” in collaboration with the Scuola Internazionale di Comics and in occasion of the Treviso Comic Book Festival 2014. The theme of the 2014 competition is: the brain drain phenomenon. Stories must talk about this contemporary theme, in real or metaphoric way. To enter the contest, the candidate (or candidates) are invited to make a comics story from a minimum of two (2) to a maximum of four (4) boards on the theme of the event. Boards must be maximum size of A3 (29.7 cm × 42) and can be produced using any manual technique, using black and white or color.

The Association Fumetti in Treviso Hosts its Second International Comics Competition for New AuthorsThe competition is open to all newcomers cartoonists and comics artists over 18 years (born before 31 December 1995) from anywhere in the world. A newcomer is a non-professional author who has no employment contracts in the field of design and has never published with national publishers. The competition is open to students from schools of comics and writers who collaborate with fanzines.
