PLURAL+ Youth Video Festival has recently opened for submissions for 2015 and calling young video-makers around the world to enter their best work. The Festival accepts short video works – of up to 5 minutes – by entrants between the ages of 9-25. There are three (3) age-based competition categories and prizes of $1,000 for the best video in each of the categories. Submitted videos must pertain to the topics of migration, diversity, social inclusion, and related topics. Videos may be of whatever type, style or genre – animated, documentary, drama, music video, comedy etc.

The Call for Entries of the PLURAL+ Youth Video Festival 2014 has recently been opened and young video-makers around the world are invited to submit their works. The United Nations Alliance of Civilizations (UNAOC) and the International Organization for Migration (IOM) again invite the world’s youth (9-25) to submit original and creative videos focusing on PLURAL+ themes: migration, diversity and social inclusion. Last year, PLURAL+ received a record-breaking 254 videos from 71 countries and twenty-six (26) videos were selected as winning.

The Call for Entries for the 2013 PLURAL+ Video Festival has recently been announced. PLURAL+ is a youth-produced video festival which encourages young people to explore themes of migration, diversity and social inclusion, and to share their creative vision with a global audience. It is a joint initiative between the United Nations Alliance of Civilizations and the International Organization for Migration, with a network of over 50 partner organizations, who support the creative efforts of young people and distribute their videos worldwide. Since 2009 over 600 entries from 72 countries have participated. Winning videos have been screened in dozens of festivals, cinemas and broadcasts on television networks throughout the world. The 2013 PLURAL+ Video Festival Opens for Submissions. The Call for Entries is On!PLURAL+ recognizes youth as powerful agents of social change, and supports cooperative efforts to reduce tension in a world often characterized by conflict and division.
