The United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) invites designers around the world to create and submit their best logo design for the World Environment Day (WED) 2015 campaign. The purpose of the contest is to design a logo for UNEP’s World Environment Day campaign, which will be used online, in print, and on merchandise. The logo should visually capture in a simple, appealing and exciting way the message behind the slogan: “Seven Billion Dreams. One Planet. Consume with Care.” The designer whose logo is selected to be the official logo for 2015 WED will win a trip to Milan, Italy to visit the Expo Milano 2015.

The United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) is launching a global video competition for young people to produce a very short video on the Montreal Protocol on Substances that Deplete the Ozone Layer, which celebrates its 25th anniversary in September this year. The videos should highlight – in an engaging manner – any aspect of the Montreal Protocol and how its implementation has helped protect all life on Earth. It can focus on the local, regional or global levels. Entries can use live-action, animation, on-screen text or a combination of all these, supported by a soundtrack.
