The 12th Arte Laguna Prize art contest is now open and entries for the 2017-2018 cycle are accepted from all parts of the world.
The contest has a free theme and aims at enhancing Contemporary Art. It includes nine (9) sections: painting, sculpture and installation, photographic art, video art and short films, performance, virtual art, digital graphics, land art and urban art. The contest stands out in the global art scene for the variety of its partnerships and opportunities offered to artists, and is recognized worldwide as a real springboard for the artists’ career.
This year, 115 Finalists will be selected, among which, five (5) will be awarded 7,000 Euro each for a total amount of 35,000 Euro!
Major collective exhibition with Finalist’s works will be hosted at the Arsenale of Venice in March 2018. The exhibition will include 30 works of painting, 25 sculptures and installations, 25 works of photographic art, 10 videos, 5 land art works, 5 works of urban art, 5 works of virtual art, 5 works of digital graphics, 5 performances — which will be performed live during the exhibition’s opening ceremony.
Arte Laguna’s international Partners will select winners among all the participants for:
- Three (3) personal exhibitions in international Art Galleries
- Three (3) collaborations with companies and promotion platforms
- Eleven (11) Art Residencies
- Participation in three (3) International Festivals end exhibitions
- One (1) Sustainability and Art Prize
The selection of the submitted artworks will be made by an international jury composed of eleven (11) members subdivided into the contest categories.
Arte Laguna Prize 2017–2018 Entry Fees
The entry fee is 55 Euro per work. The fee is reduced to 50 Euro per work for artists under the age of 25.
