Médicos del Mundo has opened the call for its 19th Luis Valtueña Humanitarian Photography Award competition, inviting amateur and professional photographers around the world to participate.
The Award has been initiated to denounce the situation of millions of people in the World and bring attention to human rights violation, social exclusion, armed conflicts, natural disasters and immigration.
The First Prize is a grant worth 6,000 Euro to develop a photo project related to the work of the Médicos del Mundo organization.
Photographers worldwide are invited to submit up to ten (10) photographs taken during the past two (2) years, related to the competition themes.
Award winners will be presented in January 2016, at an awards ceremony which is yet to be scheduled and announced.
