The Royal Observatory, Greenwich is proud to present Astronomy Photographer of the Year 2010 – a free competition and exhibition for everyone who loves the night sky. Astronomy Photographer of the Year 2010 has competition categories for everyone, including young astro-photographers, and there are some great prizes to be won. As last year, there are three main competition categories. Judges will select one winner, one runner up and two highly commended entries from each, before deciding an overall winner to be crowned Astronomy Photographer of the Year 2010. There is also a special competition category for under 16s: Young Astronomy Photographer of the Year. And new this year there are two special awards – one for newcomers and another for shots that creatively capture people and space.

If you like fashion and are driven by illustration, this is your chance. Take part in IED Barcelona fashion illustration competition and win a 2010 summer course in Creative Illustration or Introduction to Fashion Design. If you are at least 18 years old and have a passion for illustration we welcome you to participate in the competition. Participants with or without studies in fashion design are accepted.
