A serial of International music competitions, which are under systemic operation and unified management of Beijing International Music Competition (BJIMC). Beijing International Music Competition always abides by independent, open and just principles with high professional standards and strict implementation of the given guidelines. The international music competitions in China are highly praised by the world music circles. Currently, Beijing International Music Competition has four international professional competitions, respectively, flute, clarinet, cello and string quartet. Each individual competition is divided into preliminary contest, quarter-final contest, semi-final contest and final contest, holding once every four years. The National Geographic Magazine Photography Grant represents the magazine’s ongoing commitment to documentary photojournalism. The first grant award was made in 2007, and it has been made annually since.
