It acts as a medium of developing and improving the artistic impressions of experts as well as emerging artists. As an alternative art space in India, “Sowing Seeds” is geared to meet the challenges required to organize such a contemporary artist village residency within rural areas and thus giving rise to a new era in art. Target GroupYoung and emerging artists, critics (under 40 years old)Artists who are able to stay at village Andore for the designated period of time.Artists who are able to produce results of his or her residence activities, e.g. exhibitions, performances, concerts or presentations.Artists who are able to communicate with local people and participate in the exchange program, e.g. talks, lectures and workshops.Number of Residencies6 visual artists of any nationality living outside India,6 visual artist living in India or living abroad with Indian nationality,2 performance artists of any nationality,1 art critic of any nationality.Duration17 &#8211; 30 December 2010 (14-days)]]></description>
