The Comic-Con International Independent Film Festival (CCI-IFF) celebrates its 11th year in 2011. The CCI-IFF is now accepting submissions for the 2011 Festival, to be held during Comic-Con International: San Diego (Comic-Con), from 21 July through 24 July 2011 at the San Diego Convention Center. Comic-Con International is a nonprofit educational corporation dedicated to creating awareness of and appreciation for comics and related popular art forms, primarily through the presentation of conventions and events that celebrate the historic and ongoing contribution of comics to art and culture. Awards and prizes will be given out at Comic-Con on 24 July 2011, with film screenings all four days of the event.
