Gösta Serlachius Fine Arts Foundation is organising an open international competition for the design of an extension for the Serlachius Museum Gösta (Joenniemi Manor). The purpose of the competition is to find for the Serlachius Museum Gösta’s extension an implementation solution which is compatible with its unique cultural environment, architecturally of top quality as well as functional and feasible. The intention is to achieve a balance between the aesthetic, functional, technical and economic targets, while adhering to the principles of sustainable development. This is an open international design competition open to architects worldwide.
