KL International Photoawards proudly announces the 2012 Call for Entries as of 1st December 2012. In its 4th year, for 2012 the organizers have added two Open categories to the original Portrait Category, which defined its inception in 2009. The Kuala Lumpur Photo Awards (KLPA) 2012 is an entry-fee based photography competition open to all levels of photographers from around the world, where all entrants have the opportunity to compete on a level playing field, and judged by experienced professionals in related industries within photography, gallery, media and the arts. Annually, since 2010, KLPA received over 1,200 entries from over 35 nations, from professionals, keen amateurs as well as newcomers to photography.
