The Australian International Design Awards is one of the longest standing and most prestigious design awards in the world. The 2012 call for entries is open and as usual the Awards are seeking for product and business designs in several different categories. Entry is open to all professionally designed products or services available in Australia (including those available to Australians via the internet). Products or services professionally designed by Australians for overseas markets are also eligible. You’re invited to take the challenge and see if you have what it takes to compete with the world’s best.

Light Space & Time Online Art Gallery announces a call for entries with the theme “Landscapes” for a juried art competition for the month of February 2012. The competition is calling for 2D artworks from artists in any part of the world. It will conclude with a group exhibition in March 2012 and extensive worldwide publicity for the winners. It doesn’t matter if you’re experienced or educated artist. You’re still eligible to compete in this juried art contest.
