The Luxembourg Society for Contemporary Music announces its 10th International Composition Prize for 2013 in cooperation with the Hong Kong Chinese Orchestra. Composers from all over the world are invited to present new works for an orchestra consisting of seven traditional Chinese instruments and seven classical western instruments. Four monetary prizes will be awarded and the prize-winning works will be issued on CD.

Video Art Festival Miden invites all video artists and video creators to participate in this year’s events, which will take place, like the past years, in public spaces at the Historic Centre of the city of Kalamata, Greece, in July 2012. The 2012 Festival call is open to every creator (individuals, groups or organizations) of any nationality and background, for videos of any genre. The upcoming 8th edition of Miden, aside from the main program, will present five additional special showcases.
