Following on from an acclaimed second year, Multicultural Arts Victoria and AMES are again collaborating to bring you the Heartlands Refugee Fine Art Prize 2012. The Prize celebrates the contribution of refugee artists who have arrived in Australia since 1970. This unique Art Prize showcases the creative talent and social contribution of visual artists from a refugee background. Do you paint, draw, etch, take photographs, make collages, wall hangings and mixed medium? We encourage you to submit your art!

London Transport Museum, in partnership with the Association of Illustrators (AOI), is delighted to announce that submissions are now welcome for the 2012 Serco Prize for Illustration. This year the theme is Secret London. Entrants are asked to create an illustration that explores a hidden side to the city. The aim of the competition is to attract artwork for display that is colourful, inspiring and celebrates a vibrant, multi-layered London. The 2012 Serco Prize for Illustration competition is open to students and illustrators throughout the world.
