The Princeton Student Film & Video Festival is seeking entries for this year’s festival. Sponsored by the Princeton Public Library, the festival is in its 9th consecutive year, continuing to provide the opportunity and venue for youth filmmakers to show their work to an appreciative and broad audience. The festival attendance has reached capacity audiences every year with about 150 people per night, with lots of appreciation and lively feedback for the filmmakers. The selected films will be screened over 2 nights, Wednesday 18 July and Thursday 19 July 2012 at the Princeton Public Library located at 65 Witherspoon Street in downtown Princeton, New Jersey.

Many film competitions out there have the same goal: bringing filmmakers together to create a community of people who can work together in the future. However, the one thing they don’t do is make you work together now. The Collaboration Film Challenge was set up to bring together filmmakers to work together, creating community through the creation of films. A Grand prize of $5000 will be awarded in this competition in June.
