[AC-CA] has launched a new single stage international competition, inviting architects around the world to design an Architecture School Tower in Dubai. Submissions can be the work of an individual or a group up to 4 members and there is no age limit. Winning participants will receive prizes totaling US$ 6,000. SIGGRAPH 2014, the 41st International Conference and Exhibition for Computer Graphics and Interactive Techniques, has recently announced the Call for Submissions for its Computer Animation Festival. The Festival accepts submissions completed on 1st January 2013, or later in eight distinct categories. All forms of computer animation are eligible including, but not limited to: 3D computer animation, 2D animation, visual effects and live action, real-time videogame play, visualizations, and digitally manipulated imagery and video.
