The 2014 Amnesty International Media Awards have recently been announced and the competition has been scheduled for 1st June 2014 through 31st July 2014. The Awards celebrate the breadth and quality of human rights reporting across the media – including broadcast, digital and print. Last year there were eleven (11) categories in the awards, recognizing newspaper, magazine, radio, TV, digital and student journalism with each judged by an independent panel.
