German Fashion Industry Foundation has recently announced the 2016 European Fashion Award FASH competition, inviting design students around the world to participate. The European Fashion Award FASH 2016 with the subject “Change” is searching for visions of a new era. How can fashion react? Should there be more adaptation, subversive strategies, or should we dream completely new dreams? Who will ride the wave of change and claim the future? The total prize fund of the 2016 Competition is 80,000 Euro, which will be distributed across several competition categories.

The 2015 Verzasca FOTO festival is currently hosting a photo story competition, inviting photographers to submit their best photo stories on an open theme. All people who have reached the age of 18 by the 19th of May 2015, regardless of nationality or residence are eligible for entry. The best work will be awarded the Nera di Verzasca Award, consisting of a cash prize of 2,000 Swiss Francs, personal exhibition from 3rd September 2015 to 3rd October 2015 in Sonogno, Switzerland and board and lodge for 4 days during the Festival.
