Communication Arts magazine invites graphic designers around the world to participate in its 2016 Typography Competition. This Communication Arts juried competition celebrates the best use of typography as the primary visual element in design and advertising, plus new typeface designs, calligraphy and hand lettering. Chosen by a jury of leading design professionals, the selected entries will be distributed worldwide in the Communication Arts Typography Annual, in print and on the iPad, and on commarts.com, assuring important exposure to the creators of this outstanding work.

The organizers of the International Reggae Poster Contest (IRPC) have opened the entry for their 4th (2015) design competition, themed ” Toward a Reggae Hall of Fame: Celebrating Great Jamaican Music”. The IRPC’s objective is to build awareness for positive Reggae music and to celebrate the global achievements of Reggae and its impact on the world. The 2015 Competition includes prize sets for the three (3) best designs. 100 posters will also be selected by a jury panel and will be exhibited in our Art of Reggae exhibitions around the world. The Art of Reggae Exhibitions are curated and presented as a platform to share the vision for a Reggae Hall of Fame Museum for Kingston, Jamaica.
