The organizers of the International Reggae Poster Contest (IRPC) have opened the entry for their 4th (2015) design competition, themed ” Toward a Reggae Hall of Fame: Celebrating Great Jamaican Music”.
The IRPC’s objective is to build awareness for positive Reggae music and to celebrate the global achievements of Reggae and its impact on the world.
The 2015 Competition includes prize sets for the three (3) best designs. 100 posters will also be selected by a jury panel and will be exhibited in our Art of Reggae exhibitions around the world. The Art of Reggae Exhibitions are curated and presented as a platform to share the vision for a Reggae Hall of Fame Museum for Kingston, Jamaica.
The objective is to simply create poster(s) about Reggae Music – the rest is up to your imagination. You’re free to explore themes of Reggae covering any one of the genres; Ska, Rocksteady, Roots Reggae, Dub, Dancehall and the unique Jamaican Soundsystem.
The 2015 International Reggae Poster Contest is open to all graphic designers and artists worldwide. Any number of original, previously not published poster designs are allowed per participant.
