Applications are now open for the 2017 Vilcek Prizes for Creative Promise, which for this cycle are awarded in the fields of biomedical science and fine arts. This is the first time that Fine Arts is a category for the Vilcek Prizes for Creative Promise. Artists across all media (who are not currently full-time students) are eligible to apply. Collectives are also welcome, provided all members meet the eligibility requirements. Three prizes are awarded in both categories, and each prize includes a $50,000 unrestricted cash award.
