The new application round of Akademie Schloss Solitude – located in Stuttgart, Germany – for residential fellowships from 2017–2019 starts on 1st September 2016. Akademie Schloss Solitude is granting approximately 70 residential fellowships of three to twelve months in duration. International artists are invited to apply from the following disciplines: Architecture, Visual Arts, Performing Arts, Design, Literature, Music/Sound, Time-based Media and Web-based Media. Furthermore, scholars, scientists and professionals from the disciplines of the Humanities, Social Sciences (with focus on culture and geopolitics), Economy/Economics (with focus on urban policy), and History (with focus on practices of writing and politics in the contemporary).
