Animage — 8th International Animation Festival of Pernambuco is accepting submissions for 2017 and invites entries by filmmakers from around the world. The Festival includes Competitive and Non-competitive Screenings of national and international animation films, in addition to special sessions, feature films, masterclass, exhibition and animation workshops for both beginners, children and professionals. As part of the Animage competitive programs, trophies and a total of 13,000 Brazilian real will be awarded in 2017. The Best Short Film will receive R$ 4,000 and the Best Children’s Short Film, Best Brazilian Short Film and the Best Short Film by the Audience, will receive R$ 3,000 each.
