Entry is open in “ScoglieraViva. Sculpting the Sea” international outdoor sculpture competition, now in its 19th edition. It features the direct intervention of sculptors on the cliffs in the town of Caorle, near Venice, Italy. The sculptures turn the cliff into a real open-air contemporary art gallery, whose changes will be given by time and natural agents. Three cash prizes of 2,000 Euro each, will be awarded in 2018. Board and lodging are also included during the stay at the City of Caorle, from 21st to 30th June 2018, for the creation of the work on site.

Noumena, in collaboration with IN(3D)USTRY and Fira Barcelona, is accepting proposals for Reshape 18 | Sensing materialities – wearable technology and consumer goods competition. In its fourth edition, Reshape focuses on customized garments or products, promoting a healthy living for individuals in everyday life. The jury members will select up to 10 projects to nominate for prize consideration. The Epson Internationa Pano Awards competition, which showcases the work of panoramic photographers worldwide, is now open for entries for 2018. Photographers, both amateur and professional, are invited to submit up to ten photographs or films for the inaugural edition of Earth Photo, with focus on four key themes – People, Nature, Place and Change. The international photography competition and exhibition, developed jointly by Forestry Commission England and the Royal Geographical Society (with the Institute of British Geographers), aims to enable a better understanding of the world around us through project partners’ complementary disciplines of Geography and the Environment. Shortlisted works will be exhibited at the Royal Geographical Society, London in Summer 2018, before touring to Forestry Commission England locations including: Bedgebury National Pinetum and Forest, Kent; Forest of Dean, Gloucestershire; and Grizedale Forest in the heart of the Lake District, Cumbria.

Stereohype launches its 14th annual Button Badge Design Competition, calling for fresh designs for 2018, coming from any part of the world. Entry is open to designers, artists, photographers, illustrators and students – including runners-up from previous competitions. Photometria International Photography Festival with pleasure open its doors for the 10th consecutive year and its competitions for 2018. This year’s theme is “Here we are“, suggesting the consolidation of Photometria in the photo frame. Literally given “Here we are” refers to here and now. It insinuates a position or point without the meaning of dimension with measurable elements. It insinuates a certain position in, either hypothetical or real space, a geographical location with spatial characteristics. The first prize of the competition is a Nikon D3400 + AF-P 18-55mm kit.
