The call “your Apulian story” is aimed at selecting 2 young designers, hosting them for 3 months in Apulia (Italy) within an artist-in-residence program, tutoring them to design and realize products with local artisans and craftsmen, and exhibiting the prototypes during the Milan Design Week 2019. The project is called DESIGNSTART and it comes from REDESIGN, a nonprofit organization founded thanks to the support of Puglia Region (Italy) government through the public initiative “PIN – Innovative Apulians”. DESIGNSTART is a hub, a contemporary design lab that proposes international contests, workshops and events in the field of design.
