World Habitat, in collaboration with UN-Habitat, is looking for the world’s best housing solutions through the 2023 World Habitat Awards competition. Eligible for entry are projects from around the world that focus on affordable and adequate housing, that are in progress or have been completed in the last ten years and project that have been designed and/or delivered in close collaboration with the residents/local community. Two winners of the 2023 World Habitat Awards will receive a Gold Award and £10,000. Trophies will also be presented to the Gold Award winning projects and travel and accommodation costs are met for one representative of each project to attend the awards ceremony.

The Department of Graphic Design, a unit of the Faculty of Fine Arts of Fatih Sultan Mehmet Vakif University, is accepting entries to the 2nd International Posterist Exhibition competition, themed “Istanbul“. The 10th annual LensCulture Portrait Awards are now open for submissions! This year, LensCulture are looking to discover and recognize more than 35 talented photographers creating extraordinary new photographic portraits. The 2023 LensCulture Portrait Awards are open to photographers at all levels of experience, and all genres of portraiture are welcome — from professional studio shoots, to detailed environmental portraits, to casual candids. The awards are open to all types of artistic approaches, too, including staged, fiction, fashion, metaphoric, self-portrait and conceptual work. SMACH Biennale is looking for project proposals for artistic, sculptural and installation interventions that are able to engage with the peculiarities of Val Badia, the natural sites in which they will be hosted. SMACH 2023 puts it’s main focus to the the word “Sprouting”, with which the organizers want to stimulate you to imagine what can be born in this era. What seeds would you like to plant? What shoots would you like to see sprout? What would you like to grow (or create) and leave for future generations? The 10 winning projects will be realised thanks to the prize offered and presented in various Alpine locations in Val Badia, in the unique setting of the UNESCO Dolomites, from July to September 2023. The 10 selected artists or group of artists will receive a prize of 2,000 Euro each.

Now in its 9th year, the annual ON PAPER International Printmaking Award is seeking for entries for 2023. The competition has been created to promote the art of printmaking and connect printmakers around the world. One award of 1,000 Euro will be awarded to the the winning artist. The shortlisted artists will have their work exhibited in Tinta Invisible (Barcelona, Spain) in July 2023.
