The 3×3 International Illustration Awards are now open for entries for 2017 and all illustrators in all countries are invited to submit.
3×3 Magazine is the first publication devoted entirely to the art of contemporary illustration and hosts its international illustration show for the 14th time.
This year, Best of Show winners will receive a $1,500 cash prize in US dollars. Gold medal winners will receive a $750 cash-value prize redeemable for two full-pages in the 2018 3×3 Illustration Directory which is distributed to 6,000 art directors in the US plus eBook editions and an online gallery with direct links to the illustrator’s website.
Best of Show and Gold medal winners will receive the 3×3 Magazine’s distinctive 3×3×3-inch cube, Silver winners – a framed certificate; Bronze and Distinctive Merit winners will receive embossed certificates. Merit winners may request either a PDF or printed certificate. Honorable mention, a PDF.
The 3×3 International Illustration Awards are open to all illustrators, art directors, graphic designers, educators, students, recent graduates, editors, publishers in all countries for commissioned and non-commissioned work produced and/or published during the calendar year 2016.
3×3 Magazine is hosting this show every year since 2003.
3×3 International Illustration Awards #14 Fees
A single entry in the Professional Show & Picture Book Show is $35 and a series of three to five images with a similar theme is $60.
A single entry in the Student Show is $15. A Student series of three to five images with a similar theme costs $35.
Entries submitted after 24th March 2017 will be considered late and will incur an additional $10 late fee.
