Aesthetica Art Prize 2016 Competition

Aesthetica Magazine has recently started accepting submissions for its 2016 Art Prize competition, to once again, celebrate excellence in art from across the world.

The competition offers both emerging and established artists the opportunity to showcase their work to a wider audience, and further their engagement with the international art world.

The first award for 2016 — the Main Prize includes £5,000 prize money, group exhibition, editorial coverage and publication in Aesthetica Magazine. The second award is the Student Prize, which includes £1,000 prize money.

This year, there are four categories for entry:

  • Photographic & Digital Art: photography, digitally manipulated work, neon work.
  • Painting & Drawing: painting, illustration, calligraphy, printmaking, collage.
  • Three Dimensional Design & Sculpture: stone, glass, metal and wood work; ceramics, textiles.
  • Video, Installation & Performance: video, installation, performance art.

Every year, the Aesthetica Art Prize attracts thousands of entries from locations as diverse as Australia, Germany, India, Japan, Malaysia, the Netherlands, the UK and the USA.

The entry fee to submit to the Aesthetica Art Prize 2016 is £20 + VAT.
