The Alliance for Artisan Enterprise is calling all artisans and artisan supporters to share their perspective on the value and impact of the $34B a year artisan economy and how artisan enterprise empowers individuals, families, and local economies around the world.
The organizers want your photos, videos, drawings, or other multimedia to help them spread the word on the value of artisan enterprise as the next startup economy.
Participants will have the chance to win an expenses-paid trip to Washington, D.C., cash, and a feature in the Alliance global marketing campaign for the artisan sector! The cash prize for the winner is $1,500.
The competition is themed “Artisan Enterprise: The New Startup Economy” and includes the following two topics:
- “I Am Artisan” – illustrate through multimedia the concept of the artisan as the original “maker”- an innovator and entrepreneur of beauty, design, and cultural traditional
- “A Beautiful Number” – illustrate through multimedia and infographics the macro-level impact of the artisan economy
The Alliance is seeking creative multimedia designs from all eligible countries and professions, including artisans, students, graphic designers, photographers, digital designers, and those just appreciate the artistry of handmade crafts as a consumer of artisan products.
