Athens Photo Festival — the leading international festival of photography and related media in Southeastern Europe — is accepting submissions for the 2018 exhibition programme.
The festival attempts to bring together a range of different perspectives from emerging and established artists and photographers from all over the world with the aim to reflect the diversity of contemporary photography, and to create opportunities for exchange of ideas, artistic expression and international engagement.
The selected works will be presented from 6 June to 29 July 2018, at the Benaki Museum (Pireos St. Annexe), one of the most prestigious museums in Greece. The exhibition will be comprised of a curated selection of over 100 entries.
The call is open for all genres of photography: from fine art to documentary and photojournalism, photo-based installations and multimedia. The Festival also welcomes submissions for its Photobook Show.
With a history of over 30 years, Athens Photo Festival, maintained and enhanced its standings as the leading international festival of photography in Southeastern Europe, and reinforced its commitment to improve Athens reputation for being a premier photo destination for visitors.
Athens Photo Festival 2018 – Entry Fees
Entry fee is 20 Euro per submission. Each applicant may submit up to three entries of up to 20 photographs per submission.
There is no fee for submissions for the Photobook Show.
