Azyl Short Film Festival is calling for one and five minute short films for its 2010 selection contests. Fiction, animation, experiment films or musical clips can be submitted.
Submission are open to any citizen of the European countries without age limit. Film professionals as well as amateurs are eligible to enter.
All nominated films will be screened in full quality at IFF Bratislava on the end of November.
Objective
Submit film entries to the Azyl Film Festival.
The festival is not thematically limited. Film may be a fiction, animation, experiment or a musical clip.
The festival has three film sections:
- Section of 1 minute films (contest)
- Section of 5 minute films (contest)
- Section of non contestants
Prizes
- Prizes in 1 minute film contest:
- 1st place: MacBook Pro 13’’ or iMac 21.5’’
- 2nd place: HD camera Go pro Hero
- 3rd place: iPod Touch 16GB
- Prizes in 5 minutes film contest:
- 1st place: Cannon 7D or iMac 27’’
- 2nd place: Camera Go pro Hero
- 3rd place: iPod Touch
All nominated films will be screened in full quality at IFF Bratislava on the end of November.
Rules
- Submission are open to any citizen of the European countries without age limit.
- Contest is open both to film professionals as well as amateurs.
- Films sent to the contest must not run over one or five minutes.
- Films must be completed not late than in 2006.
- The contestant is under the strict obligation to fill in the entry form according to the truth entry form.
- It is strictly prohibited to use a music piece in your film without its authors permission and agreement and you are fully responsible for the possible breaking the copyright laws.
- Film may have been presented in other film festivals.
- Each film director may send 3 films at maximum to each of the sections.
- Only the first three films in each of the sections will be awarded.
- One entry form is required per one film to be submitted.

Send your application through the entry form on the festival’s official website.
Films has to be sent in one of the following formats: avi, mov or DVD video (PAL) in resolution 768×576 or 720×576 pixels on 72 dpi, uncompressed or dv-pal kompression, 25 frame per second, 48khz sound on a CD or DVD carriers, to the address:
