The British Life Photography Awards is a brand new photographic competition for photographers around the world to seek and capture the essence and spirit of British life. The Competition includes ten (10) separate categories documenting real life through original, illuminating, thought provoking, humorous and poignant imagery.
With an overall prize fund worth over £10,000, winners and commended entrants will have their work displayed in a national touring exhibition and book published by ilex Press.
Covering everything from: street life, rural life, portraiture and a special award for the best documentary feature, the awards celebrate British life and culture, whilst also highlighting the relevance and importance of photography to raise awareness and inform. Thus, submitted entries must have been taken in the United Kingdom of Great Britain Northern Ireland, the Isle of Man or the Channel Islands.
The competition is open to all photographers both amateur and professional. A special prize will also be awarded to the best young photographer.
Winners will be notified before the end of November, 2014.
British Life Photography Awards 2014 Fees
Single images can be submitted for £5 per image. A series of up to three (3) images costs £10 and up to twenty (20) images can be submitted for £20 per series.
