MEDS (Meetings of Design Students) Belgium is calling for tutors for the MEDS Workshop 2026, titled “Reweaving the Brussels Canal District”. MEDS Workshop is an international, collaborative educational event fostering learning and professional development in architecture, design, and related disciplines. The Tutor Call is a competition open to architects, designers, and creatives interested in leading hands-on, design-build workshops. Selected tutors will guide participants and co-design together throughout the development and realization of their proposals, contributing to a collective narrative for the site.

Confindustria Ceramica (the Italian Association of Ceramics) and the Italian Trade Agency are proud to announce that the 2026 edition of the Ceramics of Italy International Tile Competition is now open for entries. Seoul Design Foundation is looking forward to welcoming many participants to Seoul Design Award 2026, which celebrates and supports designers with creative solutions for a better daily life. Eligible for entry are design projects in all fields realized within 5 years by designers, groups and enterprises who contributed to a more sustainable and harmonious future between people, society and the environment. 60+ winners will be selected and awarded with monetary prizes. The Taipei Design Award (TDA) has entered its 19th year and now accepting entries for 2026. The organizers are looking for outstanding international designs across multiple disciplines. With the core vision of “making design a driving force for shaping a better future“, the award selects outstanding design works from across the country, aiming to establish Taipei as an international platform for creative exchange. It seeks to discover innovative designs with commercial potential and social value, encourages design to respond to contemporary issues, expands its social influence, enhances the added value of businesses and products, and promotes the sustainable development of the design industry This year’s total prize money is NT $4,5 million, including NT $600,000 for the Grand Prize in each competition category.

The 2026 Taiwan International Student Design Competition (TISDC), on the theme “Resilience“, has been announced. The purpose of TISDC is to encourage international creative design exchanges, develop creative design talents, showcase the international image of Taiwan on creative design, and establish Taiwan’s international design reputation. The total prize fund for 2026 is more than $120,000 in prize money — $13,000 of which are reserved for the winner of the Grand Prix. Awarding cups and certificates will also be awarded.

The sixth Radicepura Garden Festival announces an international competition for the selection of garden designers. It is launched on an international scale as an open call for ideas. The theme for 2027 is “Gardens of Hope: Cultivating Coexistence“. Eight (8) winning projects will be realized by their teams and will be guided and supervised by the Radicepura staff. The total budget for the realization of each garden – strictly for construction costs –  is €10,000.
