Communication Arts’ juried competition celebrates the best use of typography as the primary visual element in design and advertising, plus new typeface designs, calligraphy and handlettering.
Any typographic project first printed or produced from September 2011 through September 2012 is eligible.
New for 2013 is that each winning entrant will receive a personalized Award of Excellence, milled from solid aluminum.
The Communication Arts Typography Competition 3 is Open For Regular Entries Until 7 September 2012
Any project printed, published or aired for the first time from September 2011 through September 2012 is eligible.
Entries may originate from any country, but the organizers need an English translation for the jurors.

Chosen by a jury of leading design professionals, the selected entries will be distributed worldwide in the Communication Arts 2013 Typography Annual and on commarts.com, assuring important exposure to the creators of this outstanding work.
Only accepted entries will be notified two months after the deadline date.
Entry Fees
Entry fees start from $35 per entry and vary depending on the competition category.
For entries submitted after 7 September 2012 an additional late entry fee of $10 per entry is required.
