Ignite: The Diabetes Ideas Challenge, invites designers, creators, and innovators from around the globe to submit ideas for a next-generation disposable insulin delivery device.
The Ignite Challenge will be open for submissions from April 8 – 10 May 2013, and will award $5,000 to ten winning submissions.
Design submissions must be accessible (usable by a broad population), appropriate (easy to integrate into daily life), and functional.
Ignite: The Diabetes Ideas Challenge: How will insulin be delivered in the future?
Sanofi US is inviting industrial designers and innovators worldwide to re-imagine the way insulin is delivered today and create concepts for next-generation delivery devices. The three main design criteria are:
- Accessible – Your concept should be usable by a broad population
- Appropriate – Your concept should be easy to integrate with daily life
- Functional – Your concept should address functional requirement as a medical tool
Ten (10) winning submissions will be selected and each will be awarded with $5000.
This innovation challenge is open to individuals, teams, and organizations.
