Entries are now being accepted for the Ilustrarte 2014 competition, part of the 6th Biennial International Exhibition of Children’s Book Illustration of Lisbon. Every two years, Ilustrarte brings together children’s books illustrators, originals, publishers and readers of all ages.
EDP Foundation invites children’s books illustrators from all over the world to participate in the 2014 competition by sending 3 original – published or unpublished – illustrations. The size of each illustration must not exceed 40 x 60 cm. The technique and the medium are at the discretion of the artist.
The selected entries in 2014, will become part of the biennial exhibition and one will be awarded the Ilustrarte prize 2014 – a 5000 Euro prize, to be awarded on the opening night of the exhibition, in January 2014.
The exhibition of the selected entries will be presented from January to April 2014 at Museum of Electricity in Lisbon, Portugal.
