International Identity Day (ID-Day) Design Competition

ID4Africa is now accepting entries for its International Identity Day (ID-Day) Design Competition.

This competition targets creatives in Africa who want to use their unique talent to help raise awareness on the importance of ID-Day, celebrated on 16th of September, and Identity for all.

First prize is US$3000. The winning design becomes the official ID-Day 2021 campaign design.

Just under 1 billion of the world’s 7.9 billion population have no legal identity and roughly 500 million of that number live on the African continent.

ID-Day seeks to raise awareness on this disturbing reality and on the role of identity in empowering individuals to exercise their rights and responsibilities fairly and equitably in society.

Entries should reflect the essence of ID-Day.

ID4Africa’s International Identity Day Design Competition challenges African artists to create a design to raise awareness on the importance of ID-Day and Identity for inclusive socio-economic development.

Participants should approach this competition as an opportunity to contribute to the promotion of international awareness and action on the issue of identity, particularly on the African continent.

This competition is open exclusively to African digital artists, designers, illustrators, photographers, professional or amateur, residing in Africa. It is organized by ID4Africa and sponsored by Integrated Biometrics.
