The La Guarimba International Film Festival is calling for short film entries for 2025 on any theme by filmmakers from all parts of the world.
La Guarimba International Film Festival is seeking for Fiction, Animation, Documentary, Music Videos, Experimental, Dance Films and Children’s Animation of any nationality and language.
The selection for 2025 will include around 170 films that will be selected to be screened at the festival and will be part of the competition. The best Fiction, Documentary and Animation films will each be awarded with 800 Euro and a trophy. The best Music Video and Children’s Animation will each be awarded with 300 Euro and a trophy. Trophies will also be awarded in all other competition categories.
La Guarimba is only seeking for films produced after 1st January 2023. Film format is not limited and any filmmaker may enter with more than one entry.
Short films of any nationality and language can participate. All themes are allowed.
The maximum length will be 30 minutes (including credits).
The 13th edition of La Guarimba International Film Festival will be held from 7th to 12th August 2025 in Amantea, Calabria, the wildest region of Italy.

The submission fee starts at 10 Euro and varies depending on the submission category, as well as the submission deadline.
