The Focus Project asks participants to contribute images pertaining to a selected theme, in an effort to identify emerging photographic talent and to create a collective narrative reflecting all our voices and visions.
You are invited you to share your most powerful images that convey, represent or capture the essence of love. It is the deepest emotion we know and welcome you to submit your best work for a chance at world-wide exposure.

Objective
The Focus Project is excited to announce the first theme to launch this collaborative project: LOVE
You can submit photos of any style that reflect what you love and honor in your life. These can be portraits of your friends and family, photos you’ve taken of those you honor and respect, images of people you’ve met on your travels, self-portraits, or any image that shows who you honor and LOVE.
Prizes
One selected photographer will be awarded the Grand Prize of a gallery reception in Manhattan, a $5,000 cash grant, your own archival quality photography book, airfare and shipping to New York City, an annual subscription to JPG Magazine, an online feature published by JPG Magazine, and an online feature published by Artists Wanted promoting you and your photography world-wide.
The public will cast their vote and the participant with the highest rated portfolio will receive the People’s Choice Prize of $1,000 cash and an online feature promoting the photographer’s work internationally.
The top 25 runners-up will receive online features, gaining worldwide exposure!
Rules
- The Focus Project is open to all photographers around the world!
- You can submit photos of any style that reflect what you love and honor in your life.
- Online submissions are limited to 12 images per portfolio. You can submit as many portfolios as you like.
- Images cannot exceed 2 MB in size.

Entry fee
Price for entry is $15 per image, you can submit 6 or more images for a flat rate of $79 (maximum of 12 images).
