Microsoft is currently accepting entries for 2017, for the Dream.Build.Play challenge, the international skill-based contest for the best Universal Windows Platform (UWP) platform games.
This competition is open to all developers, working solo or in teams of up to seven.
One Grand Prize will be announced in each competition category and a total of $225,000 will be awarded. The biggest Grand Prize of $100,000 is reserved for the “Cloud-powered game” category.
Each entry may be submitted in one (1) or more of the following categories:
- Cloud-powered game
- PC game
- Mixed reality game
- Console game
Participants should be at least 18 years old and have all technical programming education, experience and/or knowledge to create games for Universal Windows Platform.
Games will be judged for their Fun Factor, Innovation, Production Quality and Business Plan/feasibility.
